We started to write the story in 2009. At first we just wanted revenge, to show the world how mean people can be. But then it started to grow on us, and we had to realize that this story just wanted to be born in a unique way. Now we know that we're just a channel, two hands that write a story, but it's not really our decision, it's rather a passion that we had a long time ago. We started to write poems and short stories when we were very young, and as the years went by, we just knew that there is some reason of our passion: we wanted to create something, to show the world what's in our mind, in our soul. So, this novel is really about us: the way we see the world, the way we think, but it's also something beyond our power, it's like a mirror of our souls with both sides: light and darkness, right and wrong, fire and ice, happiness and depression, true love with the deepest passion and rage that destroys everything.
Before you read anything else, we would like to warn you that we are Hungarians, and our English may not be perfect... (in fact we haven't spoken in English in a long time, so we hope, that you can understand us, and please, correct us, if needed).
We already have a website in Hungarian, and we would like to translate it to English, but we thought, we should write a blog first, make some videos, to see if it's worth the hard work. We hope that you'll like it, and we promise that we'll try to translate as many parts of the novel, as we can. So far we wrote approximately 200 pages, but it's not finished yet. The story has three chapters: Summer, Autumn and Winter. We already finished the Summer part, where you can meet the main characters: Dr. Damien Porter, a psychiatrist and his patients: Zoe Zaccaro and Laura Canning. Zoe is a popular writer, she already published several books, but sometimes she suffers from memory loss. Laura is a famous painter, she has galleries all over Europe and she suffers from insomnia and paranoia. Damien is treating the two women with psychotherapy, but it takes all the time away from his family. When he finds out what illness they have, he realizes that it's a huge opportunity for him to study these interesting cases.
In the Autumn part, you can meet some new characters: Trixie, the hooker, Adam Conroy, the detective, and Barbara Redding Conroy, Adam's wife. Adam and Barbara live in an unhappy marriage; it's quite the opposite of Damien's perfect marriage. While Damien has two kids, Adam and Barbara try to have a child, but they can't. The wife is desperate and she resents her husband more and more every day. After a while the police find out that there's been a murder, but everyone seems to understand the killer's reasons...
The winter part's going to be the most difficult to write. It is the ending and we are planning to write a little twist in it. But it stays our secret, until the book comes out.
You're probably wondering why we are making this blog in English? Well, as (as we hope) you will see, the story takes place in London, because we've always had a passion for Britain. The other reason is that we would like to publish this book not only in Hungary, but in Britain, America and all over the world. If you know about Hungarian literature, you should know that our novel is a bit different... We chose a far-away country, our characters are nothing like typical Hungarian characters and the story is much more complicated, more powerful and intense like any other novel in our literature. We just want to show it to the world, and hope that someone out there is listening...
Oh, by the way, we are Zsófi and Klaudia, the writers of a romantic psycho thriller, we are 26 and 21 years old, and we are attending a media and communication school in Budapest, where we first met. It was like we were reading each others mind. We are amazingly similar, yet so different, that we can perfectly work together on this project for one and a half year now. We have a marketing plan for the book and for our website, we are writing our thesis on this project and we’ll try everything to get this book published.
